Earth Day presentations are revised every year and are limited to 30 minutes per classroom due to the large requests. In addition to presentations, the poster contest, aluminum recycling contest, and photography contest for Earth Day, students can also participate in the Kroger grocery bag decorating activity. Kroger stores have been a sponsor for this program for many years nationwide. The Educator will deliver the paper grocery bags to schools, students decorate them with an Earth Day message and the bags are picked up and delivered back to Kroger stores for use during the week of Earth Day.
