The Recycling Coordinator runs programs that encourage the recycling of waste products, thereby saving natural resources and reducing solid waste disposal needs.

Under the direction of the Director of Solid Waste Management, the Recycling Coordinator also plans, organizes, directs, and participates in work activities that enhance the County's waste, residential and commercial recycling, and pollution prevention programs.

The Recycling Coordinator also serves as a liaison between the Solid Waste Management Department and the public.
